The Platform for Language and Speech Technology has been established on 8 June, 2008, as a result of a cooperation between industrial and research members. The members had been working together for sometime, establishing the platform to reach their long-term goals more easily. In addition to fulfilling its Mission, the platform also seeks new members, to make technological development in Hungary more dynamic, and contributing to more efficient knowledge transfers.
